Job DetailsJob LocationFillmore County Hospital - Geneva, NEDescriptionPOSITION PURPOSE:The Foundation Coordinator directs and manages the Foundation's program, special events, donor base and the daily activities of the Foundation. The Foundation Coordinator also will provide strategic fundraising direction for the organization by working in collaboration with the hospital Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Foundation Board of Directors to develop and implement fundraising strategies. This position will report directly to the CFO and indirectly to the Foundation Board President.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Computer applications and word processing skills

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all fundraising activities (in conjunction with the Foundation Board and FCH Administration). This includes logistically preparing for each event, including promotion, entertainment, venue, etc. This also includes post-event follow-up including sending thank you' s and tracking of revenue and expenses.
  • Work with FCH Marketing staff to create and distribute invitations, advertising/marketing for special events, communicating frequently with the marketing team to ensure a consistent marketing message around the special event campaign.
  • Serve as the organizer of Foundation meetings, including setting meeting dates, creating meeting agendas, taking accurate minutes, and communication to Board member pre/post meeting to clarify or answer questions.
  • Maintains the donor database, including data entry of donations, managing donor records for tracking donor engagement, and assisting with donor stewardship initiatives.
  • Assist in coordination of all correspondence between the FCH Foundation Board and staff, and will serve as the contact person for the FCH Foundation on all public inquiries.
  • Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained.
  • Participates in FCH committees, quality assurance, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and activities which support the facility and department operations.
  • Complies with the state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of FCH operations and requirements of the FCH Compliance Program. Including but not limited to:
    • The Compliance Policy.
    • Completes all mandatory on-line training annually and as assigned.
    • All department and organization-wide policies.
    • Considers the impact of regulations such as Critical Access Hospital requirements, along with Federal and State of Nebraska regulations and discusses concerns appropriately to ensure compliance.
