Our platform marries an expansive clinical footprint and expertise with builders and operators to partner with aspiring entrepreneurs and startups to accelerate their path to market. 25m Health's in-house platform team, based in Nashville and New York City, spans engineering (full-stack, security, data science), strategy (fundraising, product, research), design (UI/UX, branding, marketing), and back-office (hiring, legal, accounting, tax).

Position summary

Are you a highly skilled and aesthetically talented nurse practitioner or MD who has experience in clinical leadership positions? This is a rare opportunity to step into a founding clinical development and patient experience focused role at the forefront of launching a brand new, innovative medspa model that will scale nationally. This position will initially be part-time (~20 hours per week) with a clear path to transition to full-time as the business scales and demands grow. Note: you will not be providing direct patient care in this role

The Founding Aesthetics Clinical Lead is a pivotal role, responsible for spearheading the clinical and patient care operations from inception. This role combines clinical expertise, patient care excellence, and strategic leadership to establish and maintain high standards of aesthetic and wellness treatments. Additionally, the role involves business development alongside our executive teams, creative marketing tactics, and continuous quality improvement to drive clinic growth and success. As a founding member, the Aesthetics Clinical Lead will play a crucial role in shaping the clinic's vision, enhancing patient experience, and positioning our brand at the forefront of the aesthetics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the aesthetics subject matter expert
    • Quickly establish yourself as an aesthetics and wellness expert; bring a sense of authority and confidence as a partner to the sales team during deal-close calls, interviews with clinical candidates, and meetings with external executives or medspa owners
    • Proactively track ongoing trends and industry networking to maintain a cutting-edge understanding of aesthetic trends. Attend (even present at!) conferences, workshops, and industry events to stay aligned to the latest advancements and emerging techniques in wellness & aesthetic medicine
    • Ensure accuracy and relevance of website copy, patient-facing materials, and external communications
  • Clinical and service menu development
    • Lead the development and implementation of clinical protocols and procedures for aesthetic and wellness services to ensure high standards of patient care
    • Oversee the introduction and integration of new aesthetic treatments and technologies
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and patient satisfaction associated with clinical programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Patient experience
    • Translate the ideal patient experience into practice; build and lead training programs that transform local medspa staff into service and procedure experts
    • Develop patient education materials and resources
    • Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to attract new patients and retain existing ones
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care
  • Team leadership
    • Recruit, train, and manage clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
    • Provide ongoing education and training to staff on the latest aesthetic techniques and technologies
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of work experience at an innovative, fast paced healthcare company in a clinical leadership position. Experience at an early-stage company is a plus!
  • 7+ years as a family nurse practitioner or MD. Experience in women's health and/or dermatology preferred
    • ISSWSH and/or menopause training is ideal
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in performing aesthetic treatments including laser therapies, neurotoxins chemical peels, microneedling, body sculpting, etc
    • Experience with hormone therapy, weight loss is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to drive conversations with patients and industry stakeholders
  • Eager advocate for aesthetics and wellness treatment to patients, colleagues, and community providers even skeptics!
  • Preference for New York based but open to qualified remote applicants
  • Ability to travel 1x / month to clinic locations

Compensation

  • Part time salary of $55-75K, commensurate with experience. Open to discussing full-time role and compensation for exceptional candidates
  • Competitive founding equity package
