Freelance Handbag Designer - Solomon Page : Job Details

We are looking for a Freelance Handbag Designer for a top fashion company in New York, New York!

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate seasonal design trends.
• Generate tech packs for all handbag design and development.
• Create illustrations and technical drawings for new concepts, hardware and CADs.
• Correspond with factories daily during product development phase and sample follow up.
• Ensure all spec packages are completed accurately and on time.
• Update and revise existing technical specs with design changes; finalize technical specs in prep for production.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of handbag or accessory design experience.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Able to CAD and generate technical handbag specifications.
• CAD proficient.
• Must be able to work onsite
