Freelance Sr Graphic Designer - Solomon Page : Job Details

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the visual identity of our brand across all platforms. We are looking for a creative and passionate individual with a deep understanding of beauty trends, excellent design skills, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with the marketing, product development, and social media teams to create high-impact designs that resonate with our target audience and elevate our brand in the beauty industry.

• Rate: $35-40hr

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and execution of design strategies to maintain a cohesive brand identity across all marketing channels, including print, digital, packaging, and in-store visuals.
• Conceptualize and design engaging visual assets for product launches, seasonal campaigns, social media, email marketing, and advertising.
• Collaborate with the product development team to design innovative and visually appealing packaging that aligns with brand aesthetics and communicates product benefits.
• Design compelling graphics, images, and layouts for social media, website, and other digital platforms, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and messaging.
• Provide art direction for photoshoots, working closely with photographers, stylists, and other team members to ensure the creative vision is brought to life.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and overseeing their work to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, PR, product development, and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment on all visual elements and brand initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends in beauty, fashion, and design, bringing fresh ideas and innovations to the table.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors, including print shops and packaging manufacturers, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Review final outputs for accuracy, consistency, and quality, making necessary revisions and ensuring all design projects meet brand standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work, including branding, packaging, digital campaigns, and print materials.
• Exceptional visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout, particularly within the beauty space.
• Proven ability to lead design projects and collaborate effectively with other departments and external partners.
• Experience in UX/UI design and working on e-commerce platforms is a plus!
