Freight and Logistics Associate, Miami Gardens, Florida: Assists in business-to-business purchasing transactions through business processes & controls. Gathers, maintains, and enters data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities into the appropriate systems. Supports shipping lines accounts and negotiation of favorable rates with the shipping lines. Supports the evaluation and negotiation of effective & economic supplier contracts for the best overall value. Assists in coordinating development of business relationships with suppliers and clients. Assists to generate new lines of business with suppliers. Utilizes skills such as Data entry, Documentation, data analysis, Customer service, Purchase orders and Invoicing, quality assurance & supply chain management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business administration, Logistics or related plus 36 months of experience in Trade operations, Freight or Logistics field.
