Supervise Fresh Cut section according to Company standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Champions Company and Division customer service programs to meet or exceed Division customer service goals. Handles customer relations in a positive manner, including effective resolution of customer complaints. Promotes Albertsons/ Safeway philosophy of personalized service in the Fresh Cut area. - Supervises, motivates, trains, and participates in the hiring of Fresh Cut personnel. Monitors associate performance and recommends personnel actions such as hiring, firing, layoffs, and disciplinary action. - Schedules Fresh Cut personnel in alignment with allotted hours. - Prepares fresh fruits and vegetables and salads for the Fresh Cut area. Ensures quality, freshness, selection, and adequate quantity to meet customer demand.
