Fright Fest Make-up Artist - Six Flags : Job Details

Our monsters and zombies won't find it hard to stay in character once you've done their make-up and special effects! You'll bring the chills to life as you transform our team, and put the fright in frightening. Whether it's a zombie, a ghoul, or a creature from the part of the water park we forgot to drain, your talent will bring our guest experience over the edge!

• A portfolio of their work for the interview

You'll contribute to our mission by:

• Supporting the Six Flags Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
• Executing make-up and special effects for mid-way characters, performers, and other various roles
• Learning the various roles in our Haunted Attractions, Midway Haunts and our Shows so they can apply the correct style of make-up

You'll do it with your:

• Previous experience in makeup application
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
• Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Sense of fun
• Friendly, outgoing personality, and ability to address guest concerns
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language

You'll know you're ready if you are:

• Willing to work in a high performance team environment
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
• 18 years old or older
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings
