Job Summary:Front Desk Agents at Marriott are responsible for providing a warm welcome and delivering exceptional service to guests from check-in to check-out. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all guest needs are addressed with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities:- Greet guests upon arrival, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys.- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs, and handle reservations and cancellations.- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and surrounding areas.- Answer phones, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure optimal room readiness and address any guest concerns.- Manage billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hotel management or relevant field is a plus.- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or related field.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in using hotel management software is preferred.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations professionally.- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
