Classification:

Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Part-time, non-supervisory position to 10-12 hours per week

Reports To: Ashley Vernick

Blackbird Yoga Studio is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Sales Representative.

A successful candidate will:

• Report directly to the studio's Leadership Team.
• Be responsible for prospect nurturing, new membership sales and the retention of current members.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales and conversion goals.
• Consistently create a warm and welcoming environment for clients.
• Enjoy connecting with customers, asking questions, and building relationships and community.
• Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Be passionate about what they are selling and confidently make intelligent class and service recommendations based on the client's needs and goals.
• Be high energy, positive and self-motivated.
• Assist with studio cleanliness, and occasional Pop-up/Marketing events within the community.
• Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport and facilitate sales.
• Be knowledgeable about current products, programs and pricing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets and an excitement about exceeding goals
• Motivated by sales commissions Strong customer service skills
• A background in retail or other sales position
• Ability to learn and use Mindbody, Loopspark, Broadly & Google Sheets for tracking purposes
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent and intuitive communication skills via in person, phone and email
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Schedule flexibility and variability is required

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years sales experience.

• Passion for yoga/health industry and able to speak to benefits of what we offer.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Some lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Must be able to hear and see in a busy studio environment.
