JD: Skills Required:

  • Expertise building modern real-time UI applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with modern JavaScript/UI frameworks including Svelte.js
  • Experience with writing automated tests via BDD using Playwright to foster effective, reusable, and flexible code
  • Experience building single page and mobile friendly web apps using RESTful APIs
  • Strong web design skills (UX, mockups, graphics)
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture including performance, accessibility, and usability
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles
  • Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
  • Identify and produce solutions for performance problems.
  • Excellent debugging skills.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience of front-end web development.
  • Portfolio that displays a strong understanding of modern web technologies and a practice of clean code structure and markup.
  • Experience with scrum/agile development methodologies a plus.
  • Experience in RESTful APIs is a plus.
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and building user interfaces accordingly a plus.
Responsibilities include:
  • Write clean, compliant, and accessible markup.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Assist with the establishment and promotion of design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices.
  • Work closely together with architects, PMs, back-end, and other front-end engineers to help solve challenging problems.
  • Demonstrate best-practice knowledge and apply skills to deliver solutions that meet the project requirements.
  • Technical research and interfacing with architects & stakeholders.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and diversity of style.
