The Front-End Assistant Supervisor is responsible for the efficient accomplishment of customer satisfaction throughout the store, with an emphasis on the front end. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the front end to include cleanliness, friendliness, cart availability, etc.
- Responsible for approval of all voids and refunds.
- Responsible for the proper operation of the Customer Care Office to include all services available.
- Responsible for maintaining a fully trained staff for the Customer Care Office and the check stand operation.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
- Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours or days as business dictates.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floors, stocks area, and register area.
- Ability to climb ladders.
