Kreis' Steakhouse is a 3rd generation family-owned fine dining restaurant located in Frontenac since 1948. We are seeking a driven individual for our Front of House Manager/Assistant General Manager position. Being a family owned St. Louis landmark for 75 years, we are searching for someone to become a key part of our family here at Kreis'.
Job Details:
The Front of House Manager/Assistant General Manager is an integral part of our day to day operations and is the face of the restaurant for our guests. Duties include but not limited to:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the highest standards of service and quality.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence - many of our staff have been with us for 20+ years. This includes hiring and scheduling.
- Be the face of the restaurant by greeting and interacting with guests.
- Handling guest relations including reservations and complaints.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Works with the FOH to ensure safety and health standards.
- Responsibility to owners includes communicating effectively for daily feedback including sales, general overview, issues etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years in restaurant management with assistant general manager experience preferred. Must be full service restaurant. Fine dining preferred.
- Experience with POS systems (Micros), OpenTable, and HotSchedules preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and organization skills.
- Ability to work on your feet in a fast paced environment.
Pay: Competitive salary based on experience starting at $72k, health insurance offered
Schedule: Holidays required (closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day). Day/Evening hours including weekends.
