Position Overview: Responsible for ensuring courteous and efficient client service at the hospital, including phone management, payment processing, and receptionist supervision. Also, serves as a receptionist when needed.
Essential Functions:
* Supervise receptionists, including hiring, evaluating, and enforcing policies.
* Schedule receptionists as per staffing needs and provide backup when necessary.
* Address client complaints, escalating issues to the Hospital Manager.
* Manage specialist scheduling and handle financial transactions.
* Process refunds, returns, credits, and payment plans.
* Generate billing statements, assist with collections, and prepare end-of-month reports.
* Serve as a backup to the Hospital Manager for building maintenance.
* Perform other assigned tasks by the Manager.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Familiarity with veterinary terminology and protocols.
* Proficient in teamwork and customer service.
* Strong multitasking and organization skills.
* Experience with multi-line telephone systems.
* Attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
* Supervisory and staff scheduling abilities.
* Basic math skills for cash handling and accounting.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
