Job Summary

This position is accountable for collecting, cleaning, and stocking dishes and utensils within the hospital.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00

Minimum Education and Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes and dishwashing area.
• Cleans garbage cans and recycle containers.
• Collects soiled dishes.
• Disposes of trash/garbage in the appropriate manner.
• Follows appropriate dishwashing practices.
• Helps with assigned cleaning duties.
• Keeps logs of wash temperatures and sanitation.
• Operates equipment safely and correctly.
• Washes specified items by hand: pots, pans, knives, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
