The primary purpose of this job is to act as the liason between team members and management, assist team members in navagating the MyRewardsEveryday website, complete pre-screenings, complete orientations, maintain records, and is responsible for store uniforms.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Check-in with the management team to discuss any new or existing team member needs. • Review email and other related areas on the computer.• Coordinate the hiring process with reviewing applications, complete pre-screenings, set-up interviews, complete orientations, and assist human resources business partner (HRBP)with external job postings. • Oversee the completion of new hire computer-based training and ensure new team members are scheduled for on-the-job training. • Ensure completion of the required annual computer-based training throughout the year. • Responsible for the inventory levels of uniforms and supplies.• Work with management to plan and execute various events throughout the store, such as job fairs, recruiting events, and holiday parties within budget. • Maintain confidential records and proper disposal of records after the retention period has ended. QUALIFICATIONS• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.• Must be 18 years of age.• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.• Must meet the company performance standards for the job.• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.• Must have keyboard skills. • Display confidentiality with sensitive team member issues and company information.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS• Shift hours: minimum 8-hour shifts• Job cycles: continual• Max. lift/carry: 25 lbs. (case of uniforms)• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%• Category III: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 35 lbs.• Max. pull static: 20 lbs.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS• Team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as promulgated in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.• Know MSDS information about all materials used during work.• Must complete and follow Lockout/Tagout training.• Must complete and follow Confined Space training.• Must complete Right-to-Know training.• Must complete store specific HIPAA training.The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
