NE Renewable Power is made up of 7 Biomass electric generating power stations located in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. These stations play a crucial role in supplying locally sourced renewable energy to the people of New England. Sprague brings over 150 years of energy operating experience to the operations of these facilities, and we're hiring a Fuel Yard Equipment Operator for the Westminster, MA location.

Job Summary:
Operate and maintain mobile equipment and stock yard equipment to ensure that fuel inventory is continuously available to enable full capacity operation.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with plant management, operations and the Fuel Procurement Specialist to schedule fuel deliveries, rotate stocks, and maintain adequate fuel inventory in the storage building.
* Operate and maintain front-end loaders, 18 wheel truck, truck dumpers, and mobile generator.
* Load and unload fuel trucks as the plant or stockyard as necessary
* Maintain inspection records and registration documents of mobile equipment.
* Plow snow as needed and ensure that snowplowing responsibility is covered.
* lead general maintenance and housekeeping of the wood unloading and storage areas as directed.
* Operate wood yard equipment and computer system as needed.
* Act as a team member with all employees of Pinetree Power Staff
* Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders
* Ability to work at heights and with adverse conditions during operations and when participating in fire/emergency activities.
* Ability to enter and work in a confined space.
* Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
* Ability to lift p to 50lbs.
* Must have eyesight corrected to 20/40 to accurately read and interpret instruments and gauges
* Ability to pass a respirator
* physical and respirator fir test
* Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's license required.
* In addition to the normal work schedule, will be required to work occasional sick/vacation coverage for Auxiliary Operators and respond to maintenance calls.
Education/Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
