Fulton Systems, based in Norcross, GA, is a leader in Thermocompressor and Steam System design and installation, serving the pulp and paper industry since 1924. The company provides steam systems, engineering, Thermocompressors, control systems, and equipment for efficient drying zone control in paper machines.

Role Description

The company seeks a part time role for a Full Charge Bookkeeper at Fulton Systems. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as producing financial statements, journal entries, invoicing, banking transactions, bookkeeping, WIP, bill of materials, inventory disbursements, AP, AR payment generation, collections and general accounting.

Other duties and support may include:

• Vendor purchase orders and shipment follow up
• Mail, deposits, telephone (no voice mail)
• Contract and file management
• Special financial analysis and reporting projects

Qualifications

• Quickbooks desktop version proficiency
• Financial Statements, Journal Entries, and Bookkeeping skills
• Proficiency in financial management software
• Ability to work with small team
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (MS Word, Excel, outlook, etc)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Extensive experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Experience with technical or engineering firm is a plus
