Job Description:

Our client is a respected law firm specializing in insurance defense, providing high-quality legal services to insurers and businesses. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will represent clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation. Your role will involve defending insurance companies and their policyholders in a wide range of legal matters, including bodily injury claims, property damage, and contractual disputes. You will work with a team of experienced attorneys to develop defense strategies, manage case files, and provide effective representation in court.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent insurance companies and their policyholders in defense of personal injury, property damage, and other liability claims.
• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from pre-litigation through trial and settlement.
• Analyze claims, review insurance policies, and evaluate coverage issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and trial briefs.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and motions practice, and represent clients in court appearances.
• Develop and implement case strategies with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Negotiate settlements and work with experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
