Position Overview:

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position open to attorneys licensed to practice in California. The ideal candidate will have experience in workers compensation defense and be adept at handling all aspects of case management while working in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of workers compensation defense matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare case strategies.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
• Provide legal analysis and advice to clients, including insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.
• 1+ years of experience in workers compensation defense preferred.
