Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong background in developing applications using Next.js and TypeScript, comprehensive knowledge of SQL, expertise in AWS cloud services (including Airflow and AppRunner), and proficiency with Git for version control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust web applications while ensuring optimal performance and security best practices. As a member of the First Tube product development team, you will work on multiple products in First Tube's portfolio, including analytics, data management and visualization, AI/ML for optimization and media planning, and new proprietary advertising products - as well as participate in key ongoing innovation and technology exploration activities. Key responsibilities: •Application development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Next.js and TypeScript. •Database management: Write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation, retrieval, and reporting, ensuring the integrity and performance of database operations. •Cloud infrastructure: Utilize AWS cloud services (Airflow, AppRunner) to deploy, manage, and scale applications, ensuring high availability and reliability. •Data pipelines: Develop and maintain data ingestion workflows using Apache Airflow to automate data processing and enhance data pipeline efficiency. •Version control: Use Git for source code management, ensuring effective version control and collaboration. •Code quality: Implement best practices for coding standards, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure high code quality. •Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-impact solutions. •Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, infrastructure, and processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing across the team. •Performance optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and databases, optimizing both frontend and backend systems for better user experiences. •Security best practices: Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the application development lifecycle to protect data and systems. Qualifications: •Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on fullstack development. •Technical skills: •Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript. •Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles. •Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically Airflow and AppRunner. •Proficiency with Git for version control. •Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker. •Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. •Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. •Team player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications: •Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •Additional skills: Experience with other front-end frameworks, back-end languages, or DevOps practices. Salary Range $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
