One of our clients needs a Full-Stack Engineer in Annapolis MD for a contract position.

• Title: Full-Stack Engineer
• Location: Annapolis MD
• Position Type: Contract
• Travel: Hybrid (16 hrs a week)
• Clearance: TS/SCI W FSP

Job Description: Responsibilities:

• Led the design, development, and implementation of responsive web applications using Angular 2 for the front end, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services built on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices architecture, utilizing Spring Boot to develop scalable and maintainable services, with a focus on RESTful APIs that enable efficient communication between front-end and back-end components.
• Spearheaded the containerization of applications using Docker and orchestrated deployments with Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and streamlined CI/CD processes for rapid development cycles.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices in software development, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills:

• Technical experience with:
• Strong understanding of Java service development;
• Experience in React
• General web development.
• Mongo/Elastic Search/Amazon cloud development is a plus
