Full Stack Engineer - Phoenix Business Computing : Job Details

Phoenix Business Computing works with some of the largest health insurance providers in the country to create adaptive, customized database applications. Our small but growing team is looking for someone who is excited and willing to take on the challenge of modernizing our highly functioning software.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect and refactor existing codebase to be scalable and abstracted
• Engineer solutions to create a streamlined CI/CD system
• Create and implement style guide for both UI and code
• Work with business partners to deliver high quality solutions to a dynamic set of requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business facing development role
• Development experience with C# or similar programming languages
• SQL database or relational database skills

Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency using with web development technologies, such as Angular, TypeScript, and CSS
• Familiarity with MS SQL Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages
• Familiarity with creating RESTful APIs
• Passion for UI/UX
• Knowledge of agile practices, including code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
• Ability to take a set of requirements and create strategies for implementation, outlining costs and benefits of each approach
