This position is responsible for the timely receipt and processing of all work orders. Trains and develops to meet quality standards of productivity objectives; routinely uses GUESTS program when working with customer owned product. This opportunity is open at our Moore Plaza location in Corpus Christi, TX.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Receives and processes all work orders within store environment including but not limited to engraving, product care, store stock, replenishment orders etc.
- Performs administrative processes in the following programs Oracle, POS, General Inquiry Screen Open Orders, In Transits, Pick up at Store, Open Findings/Supplies; Operation of Material Transactions and Material Transactions by Date; Pick up at Store Acknowledgement Form.
- Develops reports in Excel as needed.
- Develops guest letters, training materials and other correspondence in MS Word as needed.
- Provides leadership and training to associates in all areas of responsibility with emphasis on accuracy, follow through, guest service and detail of work that meets company and guest expectations.
- Utilizes GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and when handling guest owned jewelry.
- Maintains accurate paperwork, timelines of deadlines, following up with guests in a timely manner.
- Performs clerical duties such as typing, filing, faxing and email.
- Assists Store Manager in implementing a staffing plan and weekly schedule.
- Assists Store Manager in correcting employee time records and makes authorized corrections for missed punches, holiday pay, jury duty pay or other punch exceptions in the time keeping system for assigned employees.
- Communicates productivity and quality concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintains accurate inventory by cycle counting and communicating inventory issues as well as assisting with physical inventory at year end.
- Provides input on employee performance.
- Demonstrates effective guest service skills.
- Provides leadership and training to associates in all areas of responsibility with emphasis on quality of work that meets guest expectations.
- Communicates productivity and quality concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Keeps supervisor informed of office concerns, production process problems, employee concerns and equipment needs.
- Delegates assignments to Administrative Associates.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skills.
- Observes all safety regulations; participates in all safety training; report all unsafe conditions to the appropriate company personnel.

Other Duties
- Assists guests with transactions.
- Completes file inventory.
- Prepares UPS shipments.
- Contacts guests for product care pickup.
- Works with corporate departments in a professional and diplomatic way.
- Assists management in meeting the objectives and goals of retail store.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- High school degree or equivalent with a minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience is preferred or equivalent education/experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Basic computer skills required POS, data entry, MS Word (basic level), Excel (spreadsheet design, data entry, Sum/Avg/Min/Max, data sorting), Email.
- Previous effective training experience.
- Organized, accurate and detail oriented.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Effective leadership and time management skills.
- Work experience in JA Product Room utilizing PUK welder, Magnetic Pin Finisher, Proxxon and Ultrasonic preferred, but not required.
- Polish and/or Make-up & Assembly experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of JAC products and safety policies preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as an alcohol and illegal drug screen.
