Full Time Custodian-Eaton Rapids - Eaton Rapids Medical Center : Job Details

DescriptionFollows housekeeping polices and procedures for mixing of chemicals, use of PPE, and handling of infectious waste.Cleans patient rooms and all other hospital areas and departments in accordance with department procedures and quality standards.Attends all required inservices, including Infection Control, safety, and scheduled department staff meetings.Cleans and maintains all carpets and hard floor surfaces.Accept and perform all job duties as assigned, facilitating changes in schedule when necessary.Demonstrates proper body mechanics when lifting or moving materials.Demonstrates proper handwashing and other infection control techniques.Identifies and properly disposes of regular, contaminated and recycle waste.Cleans and maintains all housekeeping equipment.RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalent. Ability to complete DOT Hazardous Materials competency.
