The Baraga Area School district is accepting applications for the following position:Full-time CustodianPreference may be given to applicants with experience or training in custodial work and/or some aspects of light building maintenance. Baraga Area Schools will provide training as necessary. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.Responsibilities:Cleaning and disinfecting the buildingHauling trashAttend to emergencies as neededLight maintenanceSummer: Deep cleaning of classrooms, hallways, stairways, etc.Setup and cleanup following eventsFollow board policies and proceduresPhysical Requirement:Lift/carry heavy objectsMove furniture, equipment, supplies and toolsBend/squat/reach/kneel/twist/scrub/sweep/vacuum/mopClimb ladders/use liftUse cleaning chemicals on a regular basisSafely operate job-related machinery
