This position performs a variety of janitorial tasks related to the day-to-day cleaning and basic maintenance of County facilities under limited supervision. Hiring rate depends on qualifications. This position receives annual pay increases to the next step in the associated salary range (apx. 3.8%) subject to satisfactory performance, in addition to any negotiated Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA). Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or GED AND 2 years of recent experience as a custodian working for a commercial firm or public institution OR completion of a certified janitorial training course.
- Must have a driving record that meets County standards and possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and throughout employment.
- Background check must meet County criteria for security sensitive positions.
- Must pass pre-employment physical capacities test
