Magic Valley Quality Milk LLC is looking to hire a Full Time Loadout Operator

Full Employee Benefits, 401K, short-term and long-term disability.

Starting pay $21 per hour. Nightshift

Experience with food processing/plant experience a plus.

The Loadout Operator is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the loadout of finished liquid products. There will be some cross over into helping with the receiving of milk. The Loadout Operator is responsible for carrying out tasks in accordance with Company policies, OSHA, regulations and applicable laws. In addition to ensuring all documentation is timely, accurate, and complete, this position is responsible for ensuring that GMP's, Sanitation requirements and performance measures are tracked and met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Train other workers on Operator tasks as needed.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and perform all CIP's, Master Sanitation items, and titrations to ensure a high standard of sanitation and to minimize downtime.
  • Immediately report any equipment/production issues to Management and communicate any variances in make plans.
  • Take all area samples for micro and analytical results in a timely manner.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain working knowledge of production and CIP circuit flows.
  • Maintain a clean workplace, free of safety hazards.
  • Use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Safety Protocol
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in food plant manufacturing a plus.
  • Good mechanical aptitude required.

Certification/Licensure Required:

  • None to start, company will provide any training needed to become certified for raw milk testing in accordance with the PMO

  • Enter, track, and maintain information in a database.
  • The ascending and/or descending of ladders and stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and arms on a regular basis.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances on a regular basis.
  • Able and willing to work at heights of 20 feet or more.
  • Repetitive motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time on concrete.
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist on a regular basis.
  • Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.

  • Subject to up to at least 92db's.
  • Lift and drag 30lb hoses on a continuous basis for short distances.
  • Able and willing to work ability to work in refrigerated conditions for extended periods
  • Be able to work at floor level, waist level, and shoulder level repetitively.
  • Be able to work the shift assigned and fill in other shifts as needed.
  • Be able to work weekends (including Saturday and Sunday), nights and off shifts if needed or assigned.
