Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: NYC Health+ Hospitals Functional Analyst supports the implementation and maintenance of the PeopleSoft AP Module.
General tasks and responsibilities will include: - Support Accounts Payable in maintaining the AP modules of PeopleSoft, understanding the dependencies and relationships between the various modules, as well as integration points
- Responsible for understanding business processes, troubleshooting system related issues, doing setup and configuration, writing queries/reports, gathering requirements, and testing
- Support implementations of PeopleSoft AP module, ensuring that Accounts Payable needs are clearly defined in system requirements and are appropriately implemented through collaboration with Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) and other key stakeholders
- Write enhancement documentation which includes and not limited to requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration, identifying tables, and test conditions
- Developing and enhancing AP related queries
- Write, execute and review completed system test scripts
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and EITS on system-related projects, representing Accounts Payable operational needs and effectively communicating requirements for effective and efficient processes
- Drive requirements meetings/sessions with the AP team
- Troubleshooting day to day Accounts Payable system issues
Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.3. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
