Job Summary:
We are a fast-growing, well-funded startup developing the next generation of computing platforms using unique ReRAM-based in-memory computing technologies. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Functional Testing Technician to join our team. This role focuses on testing and validating hardware components, including analog circuits, digital circuits, and memory blocks, requiring proficiency in test automation with Python and C, along with strong communication skills and adeptness with testing equipment.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in developing detailed test plans and test cases based on design specifications and functional requirements.
• Conduct hands-on testing of analog and digital function blocks using standard and custom test setups.
• Apply testing methodologies for analog circuits such as Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), and Bandgaps across different chips and process-voltage-temperature (PVT) conditions.
• Utilize specialized testing equipment and software for both manual and automated testing.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Python and C to automate testing processes.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in test scripts to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing using a defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to reproduce issues, conduct root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
• Work closely with design engineers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing feedback.
• Operate and maintain various testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Provide detailed and accurate test execution reports, including test results, defect logs, and metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of analog circuit design and testing, including experience with ADCs, DACs, and operational amplifiers (OpAmps).
• Proficiency in programming with Python, C, and C# for test automation and data analysis.
• Strong skills in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Resistive Random-Access Memory (RRAM) and memory devices.
• Experience with automated hardware testing tools and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with semiconductor testing standards and protocols.
