Looking for a Fundraising Director (Non-Profit) to join our New Hope team!
The Fundraising Director implements the Mission of New Hope by planning, organizing, and directing ongoing and special project funding programs and planning events in order to ensure supplemental income.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in public relations, advertising, sales, business, marketing, and another related field.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree plus specific training in development/fund raising.
Experience:
Required: Five years of proven success in one or more of the following: development/fund raising, public relations, advertising, sales, business, marketing, volunteerism, or another related field.
Preferred: Three to five years in fund raising experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Abilities in interpersonal relationships, writing and speaking skills. Organizational skills, creativity, knowledge of basic funding mechanisms, and ability to interpret complex concepts in a concise manner.
Necessary Requirements:
Working knowledge of computer applications – especially WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record and continue to be insurable under New Hope's automobile insurance.
This role is located in Carroll, IA and is on-site.
