PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Master Selling Techniques: Learn to offer related items and accessories, driving multiple-unit sales.
• Gain Product Knowledge: Understand our store products and services to enhance customer service and sales.
• Execute Efficient Transactions: Properly use all systems and point of sale procedures.
• Communicate Effectively: Engage with customers, fellow associates and management with clear and effective communication.
• Achieve Sales Goals: After your 90-day training, aim to meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Quick Learners: Ability to learn quickly and have positive interaction with customers.
• Sales Experience: Previous sales experience a plus but we'll train you in the furniture business.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Language Skills: Strong ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual is preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with computer systems, programs and email.
• Resilience: Work productively and effectively under stressful conditions.
• Customer Focused: Handle difficult customers with ease and provide exceptional service.
• Initiative: Show proactive thinking, work independently and implement new ideas.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

RequirementsMINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Tech Skills: Good computer skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Active Role: Most of the time is spent sitting, standing and walking.
