Summary: This position provides support to the Winchester team in production of quality products for Kraft Heinz Winchester.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leadership of two multi-shift business entities.
  • Required to work when and where needed.
  • Pouch Room experience preferred.
  • Monitors daily/weekly pouch production.
  • ISO/QCMS representative and Pouch Room.
  • Supports and strengthens Team Winchester's High Performance Work System through the following:
  • Spends 80-100% of time on the floor, arranging for coverage, giving relief, and fills in as needed.
  • Evaluates and communicates team and individual performance to develop and build teamwork.
  • Design and facilitate developmental programs that support the fundamentals of HPWS.
  • Maintains fair and accurate training for all new and existing team members.
  • Able to support operations; project/engineering for development, implementation and start-up of projects and new products.
  • Works with Quality on all aspects of R&D, systems operations and specifications, any formula changes to ensure any obsolete material is used or placed on hold and SPC & DMS.
  • Work optimally with vendors for control of pouch packaging hold and ensures that the daily/weekly/monthly hold log is complete and accurate.
  • Coordinates with Logistics and completes DAR's.
  • Coordinates on-line operations with team members (i.e. Operators, Technicians, Support Staff, etc.) to meet production schedules and to increase outputs while maintaining the plant's operating budget.
  • Coordinates with Logistics to ensure sufficient supplies for Pouch Room and works in parallel with other Coordinators on any pouch, and/or quality issues.
  • Compiles the information needed to coordinate and/or conduct as well as participate in the following: First, Second, and Third level Greenrooms as well as the quarterly Team Lead meetings.
  • Submits daily safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale reports.
  • Communicates to team members any changes that have an impact on team members or to the operation of the plant.
  • Conducts monthly meeting with Pouch Room to address any issues and ensure that scheduled coverage is completed for both businesses.
  • Must understand the following programs but not limited to Quality, Safety, G.M.P., Housekeeping, OEE/MES, RSVIEW and KHS and have the ability to coordinate solutions to issues that may occur.
  • Coordinates HACCP checks with team members and ensures procedures and all specs are met.
  • Supervises Biotrace swab tests, heat exchanger charts and slop removal to ensure completion.
  • Must monitor and understand Hertzler weight control data and take appropriate actions if out of control limits.
  • Must monitor and understand quality testing procedures (i.e. Brix, pH levels, etc.) and takes appropriate action if out of control limits.
  • Must follow all Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Dress Code, and Rules of Personal Conduct policies.
  • Maintains Employee Food Safety Awareness.
  • Helps resolve conflicts on the floor through One-on-Ones.
  • Identifies safety concerns and ensures immediate resolution by using the proper channels (i.e. SSE Manager, Maintenance Department, and Engineering).
  • Must be current on all procedures involving emergency events.
  • Ensure tour ready status is always maintained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Winchester Kraft Heinz QRMP accountability document.
