Game Day Grounds Crew - The South Atlantic League : Job Details

The Salem Red Sox are the Single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and are searching for highly motivated individuals that will help oversee the maintenance of the playing surface and ensure that it is up to professional playing standards. A member of the Carolina League, the Red Sox play their home games at Carilion Clinic Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark. JOB TYPE:Hourly / Seasonal (March October)PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Aid in all field preparations on game days and non-game day events. Assist with multiple aspects of maintaining the infield playing surface, such as care to the mound, bullpens, and home plate areas. Daily care of the grass including watering and mowing of playing surface. Facilitation of game day needs, such as painting of foul lines and batters boxes.
