Plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of athletic events, contributing to the overall success and fan experience of the athletics program.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assists with event setup and tear-down of equipment, signage, and facilities for athletic events, ensuring that all required materials and resources are in place2. Provides support in various game-day operations, including ticketing, crowd control, and customer service to enhance the overall fan experience3. Performs routine maintenance and cleanliness tasks to ensure that the athletic facilities are in top condition before, during, and after events4. Assists with the transportation, setup, and maintenance of athletic equipment and gear as needed for practices, games, and events5. Collaborates with coaching staff and other athletics personnel to address team needs and assist athletes in various capacities6. Prepared to respond to emergency situations, including assisting in first aid, crowd control, or evacuations as required during events7. Interacts with fans and guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring their needs are met to enhance their experience8. Maintains effective communication with the Athletics Department staff and event coordinators to ensure a cohesive and well-coordinated event operation9.
