Game-Day Operations Graduate Assistant - Southwestern College (KS) : Job Details

Southwestern College is currently seeking applicants for a Game-Day Operations Graduate Assistant. This position is on a 10-month contract that will initially begin in January and will renew annually beginning Aug 1st and continue through May 31st. Southwestern College, an NAIA institution and member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), is a private comprehensive college with an enrollment of about 1,700 students.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide support in various game-day operations, including ticketing, concessions, crowd control, and customer service

* Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness tasks to ensure that athletic facilities are ready for the game-day fan experience

* Assist with the transportation needs of our sports teams

* Collaborate with the coaching staff and other athletics personnel to assist in various capacities throughout the department.

* Supervise work-study students and table staff during game-days

* Complete other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and/or athletic department

Qualifications

* A bachelor's degree is required

* Applicant must obtain acceptance in Southwestern College's graduate program

* Applicant must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends)

* Able to lift and move athletic equipment

* Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured to drive college vehicles required

Position includes
