Overview
Parkwerst Bicycle Caisno is seeing an IT Gaming Technician to join the team. If you enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a high growth industry, then this is the job for you.
A Gaming Technician installs, maintains, and repairs gaming machines and equipment. Supports software, hardware, and firmware throughout the enterprise with emphasis in the casino gaming areas. This can include, but not limited to, all casino management systems, user management systems, table gaming systems, etc.
Responsibilities
Install, diagnose and repair all gaming equipment ensure efficiency. Connect machines to the network and other systems as needed for gaming data collection and security. Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meet regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hardware, software, or network connectivity, working quickly to minimize downtime. Perform regular maintenance, such as replacing parts, cleaning, and testing for optimal performance Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and incidents for auditing and compliance purposes. Protect and maintain integrity of assets including all game equipment. Tracks and maintains inventory, order supplies, parts, equipment, and materials. Effectively communicate with supervisors and obtain required approvals and acknowledgements according to established policies and procedures. Interact with department and colleagues in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and cross-cultural communications. Provide technical support for application-related incidents, working to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Must have experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Must have competency in basic computer functions and networking concepts.
* Industry technical certification(s) a plus.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to be accurate and have an attention to detail
* Ability to work cooperatively with staff
* Able and willing to work any given shift including weekends and holidays.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
Education:
Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related field or technical training or certification focused on electronics, electrical systems, or computer technology.
Experience:
Two-four-year experience in similar field and/or industry and/or combination of education and experience.
Physical and mental requirements:
* Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
* Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
* Position may require exposure to excessive noise.
* Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
