It is through this focus that we have created some of the most reliable and accurate technologies in the world.We are looking for a Gas Analysis Applications Scientist to join our team.Job Description:Application scientist for the gas analysis product portfolio to support revenue growth in O&G markets and expand into adjacent markets (non-O&G) with close collaboration among the sales, marketing, engineering, service, and operations teamsLead application evaluation, design and testing in chromatography, spectroscopy, and surface-based sensors for new and existing applications in alignment with targeted sales and marketing growth programsDevelop new application and technology strategies to support the product development roadmaps in close partnership with the product managersAssist in the development of marketing plans to promote applications in current and new marketsSupport aftermarket service team on the resolution of technical and application issuesSupport inside sales / technical support team with application reviews for new order opportunitiesCollaborate with Sales leadership and Channel partners to promote current applications, identify new applications, and provide product trainingAssist operations as needed on troubleshooting applications and other necessary product supportWrite and present technical papers for trade shows, conferences and seminarsOther duties as required to support the growth of the businessJob RequJ Job Requirements:M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or related SciencesMinimum of 5-10-years experience in process instrumentationExperience in chromatography, photometers, spectrometers, or other analytical methods regarding applications in the process control and automation industry, specifically in refining, gas processing, petrochemicals, power, clean energy, etc.Demonstrated ability to work with a sales and marketing organization and end users to develop new applications for existing products or technologyCapable of effective interaction with internal cross functional teams (sales, service, engineering, and operations) to execute applications specific systems for end usersAbility to work independently in determining and conducting research (design of experiments methodology), selecting and interpreting information, handling deviations from standard methods, and resolving difficultiesAbility to synthesize information, make decision and provide recommendations regarding applications to the businessExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAlways maintains a high degree of personal integrityAbility to attract the support and cooperation of others, team playerWindows Environment, Microsoft Office SuiteDesired but not required:Experience in design and development of instrumentationExperience in a manufacturing environmentAnalysis (e.g. Matlab, FEA, CFD)
