Government Jobs - Full Time - $19.73 - $28.35 Hourly The purpose of the class is to operate light to heavy mobile equipment and perform skilled work in installation, support and maintenance of gas distribution systems. The class is responsible for installation and maintenance of gas distribution facilities, meter repair, assisting with disconnecting and connecting service, safety inspections, and maintaining logs and records. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed; develops work methods and sequences under general supervision. Works outside customer residences and businesses. The class works according to some procedures, but decides how and when to do things under general supervision.
