Gastroenterology NP or PA - Tandym Group : Job Details

A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Gastroenterology team in Queens. About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5
• Specialty: Gastroenterology/ GI
• Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities:The Gastroenterology NP or PA will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments and perform thorough physician examinations focused on gastrointestinal health
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including but not limited to lab work, imaging studies, and endoscopic procedures
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education
• Perform outpatient procedures as required

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant
