Gastroenterology NP / PA - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health services network in Orange County, NY is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great opportunity with their Gastroenterology team.About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Gastroenterology
• Schedule: Flexible - 3 twelve hour days, 4 nine hour days, or 5 seven hour days
• Hours: Standard business

Responsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will:

• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Examine patients and their medical records
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
• Perform other dugites, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related Gastroenterology experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
