Gate Attendant (2nd shift) - Tecumseh Plant - Tyson Foods : Job Details

This position is responsible for the physical security of the facility, including assignments to walking or stationary posts, depending upon the location. The position will require inspection and control of persons and vehicles while entering or leaving the facility, logging of truck traffic during ingress and egress, writing reports, performing preliminary investigations in addition to switchboard operations, two-way radio communication and intercom equipment. Reports to: Area Safety Manager through the Lead Security Officer. Pay Rate: $17.20/hr. Duties and Responsibilities: Checking identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members, allowing only authorized personnel into the facility . Checking all carry-in items including bags, briefcases, toolboxes, lunchboxes, etc. Writing investigative reports: Preliminary investigations of accidents, thefts, work place violence, and other incidents as needed.
