- Greet and screen incoming vehicle and pedestrian traffic pursuant to standard operating procedures.
- Screen and log incoming telephone calls, log and handle complaints, refer requests for assistance to the appropriate Department or agency when necessary, and dispatch patrol personnel to calls for assistance within the community via two-way radio.
- Perform computer data entry pursuant to standard operating procedures.
- Document and maintain logs, records of gate activities, and incident reports as required.
- Telephone for fire, medical, and law enforcement assistance as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all records, incidents, and crimes.
- Investigate and submit oral/written incident reports as service assignments dictate, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, clarity, and timeliness.
- Oversee gate and computer operations pursuant to standard operating procedures.
- Provide assistance whenever possible, within the limitations of authority and resources, to public agencies possessing legal jurisdiction or capability of providing assistance. In the event of criminal activity, initiate citizen arrests and/or alert victims to the availability of local law enforcement officials.
- Submit reports as assignments require with accuracy, clarity, a timeliness, and follows up to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
- Communicate and coordinate directly with Department personnel, inter-company departments, public agency, and law enforcement agencies via two-way radio.
- Ensure proper accountability, maintenance, care, and cleanliness of Department computers, equipment, gate apparatus, facilities, and gate plaza areas.
- Attend organization and Department safety/training meetings.
- Testify in court and Association Hearing proceedings as required.
- Prepare and submit oral and written reports and recommendations to the Director of Security Services.
- Confer with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of organization activities with law enforcement and public safety agencies.
- Confer with representatives of management to enforce policies and determine need for programs.
- As an agent of the corporation, enforce the Association's Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions, polices, rules, regulations, procedures, Board Resolutions.
- Deny vehicle and pedestrian entry into Hidden Valley Lake, should the party fail to establish legitimate justification or rightful authority to enter.
- Photo ID member's guest and venders entering HVL and ensure that person(s) are authorized entry per Gate Access Policy.
- Confiscate misused or expired HVLA Photo ID cards.
- Access property owner computer and hard files. Retrieve, add, delete, and modify information pursuant to standard operating procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAny combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of this position. This may include:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent thereof.
- Previous experience with computers in a customer service environment, including keyboarding and/or typing.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, security, and/or Common Interest Developments preferred.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
