Together under the Shyft umbrella, our teams drive new synergies that bring innovations to life on the road - for an experience that is safer, more satisfying, more rewarding all around.With 50 years and millions of miles behind us, we continue to charge forward - leading the commercial vehicle transition to electric, innovating across all our brands, and earning our position among Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Companies.What you'll do:Assembly andinstallation of truck bodies, support the production and assembly of variouscomponents, and perform as an active member of the team• Assembly or installation of varioustruck body parts• Mechanically inclined and skilled withhand, air, and power tools• Must be proficient in work• Must be detail oriented and be verymeticulous about your work• Perform as a team member which requiresthe ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations• Perform the above within acceptablequality, quantity, performance, and safety standards• Obtain supplies and parts required to dothe job• Assist other employees when assemblywork is not required• Clean department and maintain neatnessin the surrounding work areas• Assist the team in 5S advancements• Assist in the implementation of LeanPrinciples#TSG123What you need to be successful:• previous manufacturing experience in an Automotive, RV, or Boat manufacturer preferred• Ability to use ladders, enter and exit trucks, reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, working below knees or above shoulders, and lifting as much as 50 lbs• Ability to use air and electric powered tools such as drills, hammer drills, torque wrenches (powered and unpowered), air tools (such as rivet guns, air drills, air hammers) and huck guns• Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulationsWhy The Shyft Group?We believe that when our people thrive personally and professionally, our business thrives.
