Position Type: Support Staff/Food ServiceDate Posted: 7/25/2024Location: Carrollton Public SchoolDate Available: 2024-25 School YearDistrict: Carrollton Public Schools - websiteTHE FOLLOWING POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT CARROLLTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS: GENERAL CAFETERIA - CARROLLTON MIDDLE SCHOOL School Year 2024-25 LOCATION: Carrollton Nutrition Service - Carrollton Middle School Kitchen - 4.5 hour shift. COMPENSATION: Per Food Service, Custodial, Maintenance Contract QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have High School Diploma At least 3 years food service experience. Physically able to perform work, with prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and carrying supplies/equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Exhibit the ability to be a team player with a positive attitude Must have dependable transportation and committed to being on time and working every day. Basic knowledge of sanitation and health standards. Serv Safe certification preferred. To keep a positive and respectful attitude in working with students, parents, other staff members, and community members who visit Carrollton Public Schools facilities or programs. Other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Service Director, Head Cook or person in charge. Must satisfactorily pass:Law enforcement background check with fingerprinting at own expense. Personal and professional reference background check. Must receive a satisfactory response to P.A. 189 letter (Misconduct Law). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Physically able to perform work, with prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and carrying/pushing/pulling supplies/equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Assists in setting up serving lines for meal service. Must comply with state and local health /sanitation guidelines. Works as a cashier or serves on serving lines as directed Washes pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment asn cleans the kitchen as directed. Keep a positive and respectful attitude in working with students, parents, other staff members and community members who visit Carrollton Public Schools facilities or programs. To ensure a safe environment for students at all times. Responsible to maintain a professional and courteous manner with fellow employees. Ensure that all activities conform to district guidelines. Other duties as requested by the supervisor.
