General Duties/Responsibilities:
The maintenance technician is responsible for inspecting the building, grounds, and equipment to identify any deficiencies and ensure all areas are in proper working condition. They handle necessary repairs and maintenance through work orders and are also tasked with installing equipment and appliances as needed. Compliant with all company safety regulations, the technician promptly responds to repair and maintenance requests and reports any issues to the maintenance supervisor. They assist with storm clean-up around the campus and collaborate with the maintenance team and contractors as required. Additionally, they load and unload tools and equipment into work vehicles, follow written and verbal instructions, and utilize various tools, including power, hand, electric, and plumbing tools, to maintain and repair the facility.

Physical Requirements:
The position requires physical stamina and flexibility to perform various tasks. The individual must be able to climb up to five flights of stairs as necessary and lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds when required. The role also demands the ability to sit, stand, twist, kneel, or squat depending on the task at hand, as well as raise arms overhead to perform specific duties. The technician should be prepared for prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or working on a project, depending on the demands of the job.
