TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as a General Clerk III.Duties / Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain incoming receipt logs for tracking purposes. Utilize automated equipment to open andsort mail.
- Ensure mail is properly organized, opened, and categorized as requested.
- Examine federal record materials and perform preliminary categorization and batching.
- Support data entry by ensuring that key data elements from batched records are accurately recorded in the relevant databases.
- Perform data verification by comparing key identifiers to source documents displayed within databases and systems.
- Organize documents for batching and final disposition.
- Assist with special projects such as batched processing and customer correspondence as assigned. stablish and maintain quality controls to assure accuracy in work.
- Perform all required tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Adhere to good housekeeping and uphold strict adherence to all safety policies.
- Work closely with on-site Team Leads, Task Managers, and the Project Coordinator to meet or exceed production goals.
- Report for duty promptly at scheduled start time.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of project information.
- Work with team members and the client in a professional, tactful, diplomatic manner, with a positive attitude.
- Attend all mandatory training, in-services, company, and client meetings.
- Comply with all company and client policies and procedures.
- Other duties and/or tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Pass pre-employment background investigation, including credit check and drug test.
- Pass Federal government background check to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination.
- High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Able to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status and abide by contract/department's COVID-19 guidance when accessing any facility.
- Two (2) years of data entry or records management experience in high production environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Education beyond high school strongly preferred.
- Strong track record of employment in a field which requires customer interaction.
- Experience maintaining and/or updating sensitive information with database systems is strongly preferred.
