This Part Time General Clerk position earns Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday pay!Job Summary: This Part Time General Clerk is responsible for providing part-time administrative and general clerical support in the efficient and effective operation of the Magisterial District Courts by assisting in processing of filings, warrant management, and other administrative tasks. This position will operate from one primary Magisterial District Court office and may be called upon to go to any of the other Magisterial District Court offices as needed to assist in Magisterial District Court operations. Education, Experience and Training Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office products required; participation in training provided by the employer is expected.
- Knowledge of contemporary office practices and procedures.
- Criminal background checks and clearances, including but not limited to fingerprinting, will be required upon offer of hire.
Hours of Work:The individual working in the position of General Clerk (part-time) will be within the traditional operating hours of the District Court and would consist of working three 7.5 hour days falling between Monday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with one-hour unpaid lunch), with the three days to be established by the Magisterial District Judge. In all instances, it is to be understood that the Court may set hours, change start and end times, require working through lunch periods, require overtime work, require weekend and/or evening work, or in any other way adjust schedules as needed to ensure the availability of judicial services to the public and to ensure efficient court operations.Required Documents for Confidential Consideration:
