  • Perform all aspects of general carpentry, including framing, drywall, and finish work on commercial and light industrial projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate and precise work.
  • Install doors, windows, and other structural and finish carpentry elements as required.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, such as wood, metal studs, drywall, and other materials.
  • Ensure all carpentry work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades and construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to address any issues or changes in project scope.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in company safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial or light industrial carpentry.
  • Proficiency in framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Preferred:
  • Experience in tenant finish-out projects.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
