We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our project located in Monks Corner, SC. Responsibilities include assisting Field Supervision in coordinating, managing and supervising field team in the execution of assigned tasks and provide front line leadership to our field associates, including laborers, carpenter and operators. Individual will organize and monitor the work of subcontractors on site and ensure work is completed safely with a focus on quality, on time and within budget. Outstanding verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills is key to success in this position.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include assisting Field Supervision in coordinating, managing and supervising field team in the execution of assigned tasks and provide front line leadership to our field associates, including laborers, carpenter and operators. Outstanding verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills is also key to success in this position.QualificationsQualified candidate will possess up to 4 years of experience in coordinating workflow for construction site; including scheduling, material management, manpower and coordinating inspections. Candidate will also possess strong communication skills, time management and will lead with integrity.Individual must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, have the ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs, 75% of the time. In addition, individual must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
