Benefits: Company parties Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance Job SummaryWe are searching for experienced and reliable General Foreman Iron Worker for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects in the Grand Junction, Ridgway, Crested Butte, Gunnison, Canon City, and Edwards, CO areas, as well as Shiprock, NM.Responsibilities Managing daily construction activities to ensure:SafetyQualityScheduleProfitabilityMake day to day decisions pertaining to all field functionsManage crew(s) and assign daily tasksAttend weekly site meetingsComplete all required safety paperwork and time sheetsEnsure crane and crew are productiveCoordinate loads and materials with fabricatorCoordinate with Project Management to complete contract scopeEnsure that project is fueled up and consumables are stocked upMotivate crew to maintain positive and productive projectsAble to work out of town from week to weekQualificationsBe able to pass a background check to work on certain projectsQualified Rigger/Signalman5-7 + years experience in trade supervisionOSHA 10 or 30 hourCertified welder (3G & 4G SMAW)CPR trainingCertified Forklift & Lift OperatorReliable transportation to and from projectsPersonal bank account for direct depositsDriver's license or acceptable form of identificationCompensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour SEAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of steel industry professionals.
